Laser gate
The laser gate (1.3 m tall, very narrow) blinks in a fixed rhythm from about 650 m: roughly 0.9 seconds on, 0.75 seconds off.

How to get past it
If the laser is off, just run through. If it is on, jump over – a medium jump is enough.
Pro tip
Watch the rhythm as you approach. If you jump anyway, its state does not matter.

Hoping it switches off in time. When in doubt, jump.
