Terms of use

These terms apply to the use of StickRun.de, offered by Benjamin Pötschke (details in the imprint). StickRun is in an alpha phase: features may change and bugs are possible.

You need a free account for saved results, coins and the leaderboard. One account per person is allowed. Your details must be accurate, and you keep your password secret. Usernames that are offensive, impersonate other people or infringe the rights of third parties are not allowed; we may require them to be changed or block the account.

Coins and cosmetic items are virtual game content without monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, paid out or transferred between accounts. We may adjust reward rules and prices and correct incorrect transactions in a traceable way. Season rewards, achievements and the daily bonus are also virtual game content without monetary value; there is no entitlement to any particular reward.

In particular, modified game clients, bots, automated inputs, exploiting bugs and multiple accounts to manipulate the leaderboard are prohibited. In case of violations we may declare runs invalid, reverse coins, remove entries from the leaderboard and block accounts. The best way to report bugs in the game is via the support center.

By submitting a suggestion you allow us to use the idea free of charge, develop it further and publish it on StickRun.de – without your username. There is no entitlement to implementation or remuneration. Do not submit content to which third parties hold rights, and no personal data. We may edit, shorten, merge or decline suggestions.

Your username and your game results appear on the leaderboard, in the season archive and – if you activate it – in your public profile and on your highscore card. You control what is visible in your account settings.

StickRun is a free service. We strive for trouble-free operation but cannot promise constant availability. Maintenance, updates and technical faults may temporarily restrict use.

You can delete your account at any time under Account → Settings. Coins and items are forfeited without replacement. In the event of serious or repeated violations of these terms we may block or delete your account.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. In cases of slight negligence we are only liable for the breach of essential obligations whose fulfilment makes the use of StickRun possible in the first place, and only up to the amount of the typically foreseeable damage.

We may change these terms with effect for the future, for example when new features are added. We will inform you about significant changes on the website. The version published here always applies.

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
