Alpha 1.4: visitor statistics without cookies
Published on
To see which pages are used, StickRun now counts visits itself – without cookies and without external services.
This is new in Alpha 1.4:
Visitor statistics – privacy-friendly
- StickRun now counts page views itself on its own server. There are still no cookies for statistics, no external analytics services and no ads.
- IP addresses are not stored. Only daily totals are stored, for example how often a page was viewed or which device type was used.
- If your browser sends "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control", you are not counted.
- Details are in the privacy policy.
Why?
The numbers show us which pages are helpful, where visitors leave and whether new features are well received – so we can improve StickRun in a more targeted way.
