Obstacle guide
Hurdle row
The hurdle row is two hurdles (0.9 × 0.9 m each) close together. It appears from about 350 m. The gap grows with speed: speed × 0.5 + 1.5 m.

How to get past it
Jump twice with short hops: over the first hurdle, land, take off again right away. Short, flat jumps are key here.
Pro tip
At high speed the gap is larger – a steady rhythm of two jumps is usually enough.
Common mistake
Staying in the air too long after the first hurdle, leaving no time for the second take-off.
